Furniture districts of Pordenone and Udine turn to the Balkans
New residential towers and hotels from Belgrade to the Montenegrin coast are opening doors for Friulian makers.
01The story
The chair district of Manzano and the furniture cluster along the Livenza have long sold across Europe and the Middle East. The Western Balkans are now a growing destination.
Sample companies like Livenza Home Systems supply kitchens and fitted interiors to residential developments in Belgrade, while Manzano Seating Lab furnishes resorts on the Adriatic coast.
Working as a district
For tenders and large projects, companies increasingly bid together — a kitchen maker, a seating specialist and an installer. Publishing a tender opportunity on the platform is one way to find the missing partner.
The sample Furniture & Contract Days in Pordenone bring architects and developers from the region to meet the districts.
